    THE 13th ANNUAL SNOWBOMB FESTIVAL is back again:
    November 3 & 4 at Pier 35 in San Francisco and
    November 10 & 11 at the Santa Clara Fairgrounds.
    These shows are free and you can get your tickets at www.snowbomb.comSnowbomb Festivals are held around California in November and are a great way to get psyched for the upcoming ski season. At the festival you will find free lift tickets, ski and board sales, climbing walls, entertainment, vendors, beer and wine.

    Get enthusiastic about the ski season by seeing a Warren Miller movie. In January 2018, Warren Miller passed away at the age of 93. This year, “Face of Winter,” the 69th installment from Warren Miller Entertainment presented by Volkswagen, will bring new and veteran athletes alike together to pay tribute to the man who started it all. It is playing at the Campbell Heritage Theatre on November 10th or at The Rio Theater in Santa Cruz November 20th.

    NSC 2019 Week Trip to Big Sky – The NSC week trip for 2019 is to Big Sky, Montana. The dates are January 19-26. For more information, download the Big Sky flyer.

    Snowbomb shows — BAC will have a booth at the shows and we will be looking for help at the booth.

    The Bay Area Council (BAC) of ski clubs will have a booth at the shows and we will be looking for help at the booth. This is a great opportunity to promote Nisei ski club and meet members of other clubs. Please contact Armand if you are interested in volunteering for a few hours at this fun event.

    Nov 5 — Winterfest — The BAC Winterfest will be held at the Englander Pub on Monday November 5th. This is a great opportunity for club reps and travel directors to speak with ski resort reps. There will be great raffle and silent auction items.

    Racing — Encourage your club members to consider racing as a fun way to become better skiers and meet new friends

    FWSA 2019 Trip to Japan – This year, FWSA is traveling to Hakuba and Niseiko in Japan. Sandy Kiyomura skied in Hakuba over 10 years ago and heard that Niseiko is supposed to be the place to ski.
