Description: NEW! From Fred Johnson: SUPER BOWL PARTY, Feb. 5, Sunday at his place. It’s that time again! The party starts after 2:30 PM and the game starts around 3:30 PM. Bring your favorite beverage and a dish to share. It can be an appetizer, main dish or a dessert. Let me know so I know what is needed. We don’t want all appetizers.

The number of guests is limited so it is important to contact me (Fred) and get on the list. When we are full you can be put on a waiting list. We have reached capacity in the past.

If you sign up and find out you cannot attend– please let me know so I can notify those on the waiting list.

Greg will have his famous pool so bring some $$$ and you might win big.

Many lucky members of the Monterey Ski & Social Club enjoyed a great
camping weekend on Sept 23-24, 2011 at Fernwood Resort in Big Sur.  It was
a fabulous weekend coordinated by Kathy Smidowski.  She made sure everyone
was well taken care of with plenty of food to go around for all three
days.  Appreciation also goes to Amy Williams and John who brought all the fix-in’s and prepared a great
breakfast on Saturday morning for everyone.  Fred Johnson also deserves a round of applause because he too brought all the stuff to make his famous blueberry pancakes on Sunday morning. They certainly have great
outdoor cooking skills among other things.  A standing ovation goes to Kathy and her two little
darling doggies who were there for the rest of the time making sure everyone
was entertained and fed very well.  There were very generous portions of
food for everyone who shared the delicious meals.  Many  enjoyed nature hikes, playing
games around the camp fire and cooking marshmallows.   You could hear lots of laughter while they
enjoyed each other’s friendship under the stars and in the natural beauty
of Big Sur.  Thank you Kathy Smidowski for making this a very special
weekend!
